NOTES
"Chant for Orchestra (Deja Vu 1972)" is the most important and best symphonic orchestral music composition by ASCAP composer John Thomas (John David Thomas) of Staten Island, NY 10301 USA (New York City) to date. It is more than ten minutes in length (10+ minutes) and was composed, arranged, orchestrated, and performed, produced, engineered, mixed, and pre-mastered by John himself!
It is unique and highly original, creative, majestic, hypnotic, and spiritual with much power with its driving "drum beat" that is repetitive and which holds the music together, along with the low bass synthesizer "drone" sustaining throughout! It is in the key of C-major and the chord structure oscillates back and forth between C-major chord and a D-major chord with the C-bass sustaining constantly. It took John two solid months of painstaking detailed work, 12 hours a day, to record this major musical work of his! He recorded about 32 or more individual tracks, in digital sound, one track at a time, one note at a time, playing all the music notes on pro keyboards in Indiana. The results speak for themselves!
